Nine Knights were named to the Region 5 all-stars announced Dec. 19 by the Erie Times-News and voted on by the coaches.
Tyler Bittner heads the list. Not only did he made first team wide receiver, but he was selected to the District 10 all-stars. Bittner, also made second team All-Region defensive back.
Also making first-team All-Region were offensive lineman Ryan Malachina, defensive lineman Matt Cirell and defensive back Sean Cogswell.
Knights named to the second team were: wide receiver Matt Basham and Cirell and Jared Frawley on the offensive line; Frawley and Shown Johns on the defensive line, Basham at linebacker, Julian Wested at defensive back and Brian Greenlee at punter.
Meanwhile, the Knights announced their annual end-of-the-season awards.
