Region 5 will have a new look for the next two seasons with Oil City, Titusville and Slippery Rock dropping to Class AA in football.
The Knights, Meadville and Warren are Region 5's lone holdovers under a proposal finalized by the District 10 Committee on Jan. 23.
Corry and Grove City, both moving up to Class AAA, will be the region's new members.
Region 6, the other Class AAA region in District 10, also will have five teams: Central, East, Strong Vincent and newcomers Cathedral Prep (dropping from Class AAAA) and Bradford (moving over from District 9 .)
A special crossover schedule will be put together for Regions 5 and 6.
