Jeff Flickner is the son of Bob Flickner, who won the PIAA Class B state championship in the 100-yard dash for Rocky Grove as a junior in 1959. The younger Flickner rushed for 1,707 yards in his senior season at Warren in 1982, and 3,537 yards in his career. He put up six 200-yard games, including a high of 305. Rocky Grove, by the way, had two state champions in track in 1959. The other was DeWitt Green in the pole vault.
